The Core difference
One on one…
We spend one on one time with our patients in order to individualize treatment plans. Your therapist will only be working with you during your appointment, they will not be supervising the treatment of multiple patients. Our clinic has multiple individual treatment rooms so our therapists can completely focus on you and you will feel at ease discussing your personal history and physical concerns.
Hands on with a PT…
While other practices emphasize patient volume by using assistants and aides, Core specializes in hands on therapy performed by a licensed Physical Therapist working directly with each patient.
Each person is impacted differently by their condition. We treat the person, not just the condition. We spend time with our patients in order to individualize and constantly refine treatment plans.
Highly qualified professionals…
Our Physical Therapists generally hold Master’s degrees or higher. Our continuing education requirements are among the highest in St. Louis and our clinicians take time every week to meet and discuss patient issues and clinical development.
Our clinicians are selected by our owners to ensure that Core continues to have highly qualified, professional and compassionate care givers. We are continually looking for ways to make our patients more comfortable during treatment and to understand the physical needs and limitations specific to their lifestyle and activities.
What our patients are saying about Core Services...
“I believe (my therapist’s) work is nothing short of a miracle”
“You are the most talented group in the world!”
“A true community of healing”
“I have my life back”
“It’s the only place I will go for therapy”
"Thank you for joining forces with one another to provide for me the best care I have ever received at a medical facility."

He completed his B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville in 1975. Mark has been working with biofeedback techniques with individuals for physical problems, migraines, exercise, sleep management, and anxiety. He has had extensive experience in teaching relaxation and stress management techniques to individuals and groups, giving workshops to (then) McDonnell-Douglas, various schools and churches in St. Charles, MO and in-services to area hospitals. Mark was at St. Louis University Hospital for 10 years, where he worked as a Bio Behavioral Therapist in the department of Behavioral Medicine/Psychiatry and later at SSM Rehab with chronic pain patients.
Mark has used his educational and professional expertise to help others grow and teaching them to reduce/deal with their problems in a healthier way. He has, through his skills and knowledge of relaxation, biofeedback, and most recently, his study of neurofeedback, been able to build a foundation for helping others with problems that they have not been able to find help for from other sources. Mark’s professional objective has always been to “see new ideas born and to help them grow along with the concepts already there.” Now, 30 years later, this is still Mark’s objective as he is continuing his training with new treatment techniques.
Mark is the Vice-President and co-founder of CORE Services, Inc.
