Jason graduated from case western reserve university with a bachelor's in sports medicine and statistics with atc certification in 1995 and completed his master's degree in physical therapy from allegheny university of the health sciences in 1997. Jason has been in private practice for 13 years in addition to being director of therapy services for a community hospital system with a staff of fifty. He was also a clinical instructor for ten years for multiple physical therapist and physical therapist assistant program.
Jason's sports medicine experience ranges from the treatment of thousands of adolescents, high school students and college level athletes. He has been able to combine first had knowledge of baseball as a former collegiate player and ncaa umpire, with his experience in injury assessment and rehab to develop an expertise in the treatment of throwing athletes. Jason also specializes in biomechanical lower extremity evaluation and in orthotic assessments/custom fabrications.
Jason is dedicated to all levels of spine care including non-surgical and post-surgical treatment of spinal related disorders. He has studied the mckenzie method and is pending certification later in 2012. In addition, he has been trained in manual therapy; including mobilization and manipulation.
Jason currently resides in centerville with his wife jodie and four children, jolie, jace, jarett and jennings. When not practicing, you will likely find jason working at home with one of the family's seven horses.
