Impact Sports Medicine is the premier Physical Therapy and wellness clinic in the Arvada, Broomfield, and Boulder areas. Our therapist have over 60 years of combined experience and are all highly trained, with advanced degrees or certifications in Athletic Training, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy, and Strength and Conditioning. In addition to the impressive education of our clinicians, our staff has also participated at the highest levels of High School, Club, and Division I sports. We have experience treating all levels of athletes, to include most major professional sports. Our Physical Therapists are committed to working with people young and old individually to maximize the benefits of Physical Therapy.
In addition to Physical Therapy services, Impact Sports Medicine has wellness and human performance programs. Whether you are a 12 year old gymnast trying to make it to the Olympics, a breast cancer survivor who wants to walk the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure”, or are the 75 year old who still wants to run the Bolder Boulder, we can design a program to help you meet your goals. We now have three locations to best meet the needs of our clients.

Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Certified Manual Therapist, Certified Running Coach
Keith attended San Diego State University, where he majored in Athletic Training and earned an Athletic Training Certification. Keith went on to obtain his degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern Medical School in Chicago, and a Certification in Manual Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Florida. For the past 20 years, Keith has taught nationally and internationally on the topics of joint mobilization, biomechanics of the lower extremity, and orthotics fabrication. Keith will be traveling this year teaching an advanced course on running and lower extremity biomechanics.
Keith has written articles for several magazines, been a contributing author for a physical therapy text book, and currently writes a fitness article for a golf magazine. Keith's clinical experience includes being an athletic trainer for two colleges, the assistant athletic trainer for an professional hockey club, the head athletic trainer for an professional roller hockey club, and has worked closely with athletic trainers from Major League Football, Major League Baseball, Major Indoor Soccer League and National Hockey teams to maximize the players' rehabilitation. Keith has treated amateur athletes of all ages and professional athletes from most sports to include ballet, golf, and America?s Cup sailing.
Keith is a certified coach through USA Track & Field, and is currently working with several Ironman finisher, ultra-marathoners, marathoners, and triathletes to help them run as fast and efficiently as possible. Keith will also be going to the Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Chula Vista, CA later in 2014 to work with some of our countries finest athletes.
Tia is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. degree in Exercise & Sports Science. She went on to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995.
Tia has various experiences in the exercise/sports settings. She has taught aerobics, body sculpting, personal training and specializes in manual physical therapy techniques. Tia has worked with a wide spectrum of athletes ranging from Olympic athletes to the weekend warriors. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from children to active seniors. Tia has a background in gymnastics, dance, cheer, and track. Also, she has helped teach courses in lower extremity mechanics and orthotic fabrication.
Rachel grew up in Colorado, and has always enjoyed a sporty and active lifestyle. She attended Adams State College where she played as a member of the Women�s Basketball Team, while receiving her B.A. in Human Performance and Physical Education. Rachel developed an interest in physical therapy while rehabilitating from a reconstructive ankle surgery related to her own sports injuries. She continued on to Northern Arizona University where she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
Rachel�s background includes experience in personal training, coaching basketball, leading aquatic therapy for individuals with multiple sclerosis and arthritis, and working with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions. Her specialty interests include treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries, specifically of the foot and ankle, and obtaining a certification in manual therapy. Rachel emphasizes an individualized approach for each patient to include functional exercise, proper postural mechanics, and patient education to empower her patients in their own self-management. In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling, playing a variety of sports, hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, and anything involving the great outdoors.
Kelly was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She received a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Denver. She continued her education at the University of Colorado with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Kelly has been an avid soccer player for the past 24 years, and her interest in physical therapy came from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament tear that occurred while playing soccer in high school. Kelly has experience working with athletes of all levels, including high school, collegiate, and professional. In addition to her interest in sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, Kelly enjoys working part-time in the home-health pediatric setting. Kelly provides high quality care by integrating manual therapy techniques, patient education, and patient specific exercise prescription in order to help patients maximize their functional potential. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing soccer, and watching football.read more
Will completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University with a Bachelor�s degree in Exercise Sports Science and obtained his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University Of Colorado Health Science Center.
Will has extensive experience in a treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries, especially with the industrial athlete. He also has significant experience in treating dysfunctions of the hip, to include impingement syndromes. Will has treated many patients from two of the top orthopedic surgeons in Colorado who specialize in treatment/surgery of the hip. Will�s overriding goal is to empower the individual to have control over their injury so they may be fulfilled and confident in their return to sport or active lifestyle.
Will enjoys all that Colorado has to offer with his family during camping, hiking, running and many organized sports activities.
