Jeremy Martinsen, PT, DPT
Jeremy Martinsen is a Physical Therapist at NovaCare’s Mount Laurel clinic located at 3115 Route 38. As a member of the NovaCare clinical team Jeremy assures exceptional patient care with one-on-one comprehensive patient education that engages each individual in the rehabilitative process. He enjoys treating a diverse orthopedic patient population and has notable success in the treatment of individuals with shoulder and spine injuries and joint replacements. Jeremy’s commitment to delivering evidence-based practice personalized to each of his patients is his primary objective.
Jeremy is an alumnus of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Camden, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Clinical affiliations for Jeremy have included the rehabilitation of patients in acute and sub-acute environments at Virtua Hospital in Berlin, and Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, and outpatient physical therapy at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Medford. In his continued pursuit of academic and clinical excellence Jeremy has completed courses which include Musculoskeletal Imaging for the Physical and Occupational Therapist, Advanced Examination and Treatment of the Shoulder, and Examination and Treatment of the Cervical Spine. Jeremy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and his future plans include earning his designation of OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialty) as well as obtaining his specialty in manual therapy techniques.
Jeremy’s Vision…“I believe that education and prevention are the cornerstones of a successful rehabilitation experience. It is just as important for the patient to understand their diagnosis as it is for the clinician. It is essential for my patients to understand how their injury occurred and what they need to do to get better and prevent a reoccurrence. A patient who is educated in their condition is prepared for successful prevention of future injury.
