Michiana Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy in South Bend offers orthopaedic and sports physical therapy rehabilitation with specialization in Manual Therapy and Medical and Scandinavian exercise training. Our therapists bring more than 50 years experience in the South Bend area with specialization in the treatment of spinal and sports injury, headache, T M J and general orthopaedic conditions.
Five years after completing his advanced master's in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy at Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis, Terry completed his advanced residency training in medial exercise and manipulative therapy. He received his intiial Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa and has been one of the primary instructors for the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) faculty for more than 20 years. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.
Jon Desmarais is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He received his master's degree in Physical therapy as well as his advanced master's degree in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University. He completed his advanced residency training in medical exercise and manipulative therapy and is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.read more
Chris Frentz received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2003. Previously, he graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. In 2007 he was recognized as Marquette University's Clinical Instructor of the year. Professionally, Chris maintains an active role in the American Physical Therapy Association and is a memeber of American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. He completed his Manipulation Therapy Fellowship in 2012 and is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.read more
