Dr Albert Khalaf, M.S., D.C.
Dr. Khalaf attended the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, where he received his undergraduate degree in 2002. Two years later, he earned a masters degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the school’s College of Chiropractic, graduating with honors.
In 2005, Dr. Khalaf opened the Center for Advanced Pain Relief in Clifton, Fair Lawn and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, where he and his staff deliver hands-on chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy and more. He is skilled in various chiropractic techniques including Motion Palpation, Static Palpation, Diversified Adjusting, Cox Flexion Distraction, Thompson Drop and McKenzie Protocol. He also performs numerous palliative soft tissue techniques including Post Isometric Relaxation (P.I.R.), Post Facilitated Stretch (P.F.S.), Nimmo, Myofascial Release and Spray and Stretch.
In addition, Dr. Khalaf is certified in Pain Management and Manipulation Under Anesthesia (M.U.A.) by the American Academy of Manual and Physical Medicine. Since 2008, he has been helping patients find effective pain relief and restore their range of motion through M.U.A.
Dr. Khalaf has always been interested in medicine. Prior to attending college, Dr. Khalaf worked as an assistant in the emergency room at Atlantic City Medical Center in Pomona, New Jersey, then as a rehabilitation assistant at Atra Community Rehabilitation Center in Westwood. During his chiropractic education, he served as a chief chiropractic resident at the University of Bridgeport Health Science Center and an extern at Spine and Sports Medicine in Ho-Ho-Kus. Before founding the Center for Advanced Pain Relief, he worked as an independent chiropractor at the Jersey City Rehab Center.
Dr. Khalaf is also the owner and director of Clifton Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy, as well as SportsMed Physical Therapy in Franklin Lakes. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and International Chiropractic Association.
