Physical Fitness for Kids

by Barbara Foster

Kids need exercise, too. In fact, experts recommend that young people get at least 60 minutes of physical exercise every day to stay healthy. When you exercise every day, you use your muscles and strengthen your heart. You also burn calories, which helps you stay fit. Getting exercise doesn't have to be boring, though. Have fun while you use your body by playing exciting games. Get your friends and family involved in your physical fitness routines, too.
