Therapy is manually oriented and we provide one-on-one treatment by a licensed physical therapist. We believe in providing an eclectic approach with the highest quality of care to treat the whole body and ensure the highest level of return to a client's prior level of function. We aim for all of our clients to improve their overall fitness and comply with a home program to prevent injuries or re-occurrences of their disorders.
JIM LUNDY completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences in 2004 and his Masters of Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in 1997. He has worked in multiple hospital, clinic, and home settings before starting several clinics in Virginia and California. He also earned several certifications for training and enhancing athletic performance.
Jim has used his knowledge to rehabilitate gold medal Olympians, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Professional Tennis Association, and multiple college, high school, and weekend warrior athletes.
In addition to his extensive continuing education covering all body parts, he is a clinical instructor for physical therapy students and has written articles regarding the foot, hip, shoulder, and low back.
After having a low back injury, he developed a specialization in low back disorders and lifting techniques. The pain from his back injury allows him to understand the complexity and frustration of injuries first hand.
In his free time, he competes in running, biking, and swimming events and enjoys coaching his two sons’ sports teams.
“Healing must be treated in a progressive, incremental, and systematic way, whether you are an athlete… or just someone with a pain you don’t want.”

LAUREN PERRONE obtained a Master of Science in Biopsychology from UCSB where she graduated with honors. She competed for four years as a member of the women’s gymnastics team. An elbow injury followed by physical therapy on campus sparked Lauren’s interest in the field. The idea of helping others, working with athletes, and the ability to remain involved in sports was appealing.
Lauren received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College in 1998, and in 2005, became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Lauren has worked in multiple settings over the years, starting out at UCLA’s outpatient orthopedic clinic, inpatient acute care, and the student health and wellness center.
Since graduation, Lauren has taken extensive continuing education to further her manual therapy skills, focusing on orthopedics and sports medicine.
Lauren lives in Manhattan Beach and enjoys running, snowboarding, yoga, and pilates.
