Andrew is a physical therapist and center manager of Select?s West Hartford clinic and onsite locations of The Hartford Insurance. He graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2010. He received his Orthopedic Certified Specialist and Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist certifications in 2014. Along with his experience in the orthopedic and corporate environment, Andrew worked with Temple University athletics while working in Philadelphia. An avid runner, Andrew coaches for MPower Youth Sports in West Hartford and Farmington, performs injury assessments with Fleet Feet Sports in West Hartford, and he has developed a Running Clinic for the West Hartford office. He treats a wide variety of running and sports-related injuries, as well as post-surgical and musculoskeletal conditions.
Brooke graduated from SUNY Stonybrook with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy; after receiving her undergraduate Bachelor�s degree from the University of Florida, in Exercise Science. Prior to joining Select Physical Therapy, Brooke was working with patients in private outpatient orthopedic settings in Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City.
In 2007, Brooke achieved the distinguished recognition of Orthopedic Certified Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She also holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Brooke has enhanced her practice with numerous continuing education courses and techniques including: The McKenzie Method, Kinesio taping, The Institute of Physical Art, and became a certified Graston Technique practitioner in 2012. Brooke specializes in orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy and functional training. She enjoys treating all injuries but is especially interested in low back pain, post-op rehabilitation, soft tissue dysfunction, and knee pain.
Nikki is a physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy in West Hartford and the University of Hartford. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2016. As part of her graduate research, Nikki and her colleagues investigated risk factors for upper extremity pain and injury in high school baseball players. She is passionate about treating a variety of patients, from athletes with musculoskeletal injuries, to older adults who require functional training to improve balance and mobility. As a former collegiate rugby player, Nikki has a special interest in concussion management and sports-related injuries.
Sarah received her bachelors in athletic training from the University of Georgia, where she gained extensive experience working in a Division I athletic training room. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Augusta University. While at Augusta University, she completed an internship with the University of Georgia football team. After receiving her DPT, she went on to complete a sports physical therapy residency through Duke University. She was able to be involved in several research projects surrounding concussion management as well as blood flow restriction training. Sarah served as a team physical therapist and athletic trainer for Team USA at the 2017 World University Games in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Sarah's interests include general sports medicine, concussion management, ACL prevention, and the utility of blood flow restriction training in a rehab setting.read more
